But it crashes just before the activision video. too bad the exact value is different for every player.I decided to create a new unit and followed the instructions in expr_descr_unit file. You won't be sitting there wondering which of the pretty textured buttons to click in order to display something.Įfficiency and beauty - now that's what I call a perfect balance. That's why its good to build your own interface - it might not be a masterpiece, but you'll know exactly the extend of what it could do. If that tool is inefficient, you'll have a very hard time playing. You could put a picture of a black hole in the center of my screen because it looks good - but is it really a smart thing to do? Interface is the tool you use to interact with the game and vice versa. In fact, Blizzard's is one of, if not the most configurable compilation out there, and it certainly doesn't suffer from inconsistent placement and theme of its elements.Īlso, never use a compilation just because it looks good, symmethrical, with great art or any other aesthetic reason. I really don't understand why do people put more value to it than just about every other compilation including Blizzard's - there simply isn't. Not only is it meant to replace the default UI - it IS a default UI. No custom UI, blizz default, just my addons and action bars arranged in a clean neat manner. However, Ive finally gotten my own screen streamlined to how i like it now so who knows. If they fixed some of the bugs and fixed the chat box I would probably use it. The one thing that they really need to change, whether its customizable or not, is the chat box. They will reset when your interface reloads. You cannot move bars or hide bars altogether. I like the design, the layout, the addons that are included. It was intended to be an all inclusive 1 stop shop for an interface. Then you missed the purpose of SpartanUI. Ugly, inefficient, not very configurable. ![]()
